Colin is in cloth!!

Our family went on our first walk together. We have a half mile track behind our house and we have always taken Tracker out there as often as possible. It has been way too cold to take Colin out but this weekend it got up to 50 degrees!! It was really nice to get out and to get Colin out even though he slept the ENTIRE time. He falls asleep as soon as you put him in his car seat :) We are hoping it stays nice outside (even though we know it won't) so we can go on walks more often. Tracker kept sticking his nose in the stroller making sure Colin was ok. What a good puppy!

I knew before Colin was born that I was going to use cloth diapers with him. They are so much better for his skin, we can save tons of money (families spend an average of 3500 dollars per child on diapers) and we are helping the environment :) I didnt get any of the newborn sized diapers and never learned how to fold the prefold diapers, so until now we have had to use disposables. We were down to our last 2 today and I really didnt want to have to buy anymore so I tried one of the cloth on and it fit!! It is a little big but wearable! I am so excited and he looks so cute! People don't know this but cloth diapers are so easy and super cute. You can buy covers in all kinds of fun colors and designs instead of the boring white that disposables are. We also hit another milestone! colin is wearing 0-3 size clothing!! It is totally because of the new diapers but that is fine! I'm ready to pack up the newborns. I'm a little sad but I have to say I love seeing his personality come out as he gets olders and seeing all of his smiles so I'm ready to back the newborn stage up!

Brian and Colin spent their first night alone together last night. Brian's sister Kelly is getting married in April and she came home for her bachelorette party and met them out for awhile. I was gone for 7 hours!! It was not easy for me but the boys did pretty well. I came home at 10:30 to find them both passed out on the couch!
